These Scientific Process are part of our physics class and I have used all of it during our experiments in physics class. The first one is used when we try to find out the effect of mass on elastic materials, we used as stand and some weight and a rubber band to find out the result. We encountered the second one when we try to find out the circumference of the earth, we had to use a math formula to find out the circumference. The third one is used when we try to find if earth is a perfect sphere, we asked ourselves if the earth is a perfect sphere at all. We collected data when we try to find out whether black coffee or coffee with milk cool down faster, we collected data about the temperature every three minutes. We analyzed our data to get the result after we got our result on the temperatures of the coffee. We encountered the sixth scientific process when we justified that earth is not a perfect sphere because the circumference we got is not equal to the circumference of the equator. For the seventh, I remember that the coffee experiment the temperature rised because we didn't place the thermometer in the right place, so we had to retake some of the temperatures and place the thermometer in the right place. The eighth one, we shared our results to the class to prove that coffee with milk cool down slower.
I used to think that colder liquids cool faster than hotter liquid but now I know that colder liquids cool slower because it is more closer to the average temperature.
I used to think that earth is a perfect sphere, but now I know that it is not.
I used to think that calculating a time of death is easy, but now I know that it is not since we need a complicated math formula.
I used to think that calculating the circumference of the earth is very difficult and it can never be accurate, but now I know it is possible, just by using scientific methods.
I used to think that the position of the thermometer won't effect the result we take, but now I know that it is not true, because the temperature rose when we moved the thermometer to the middle of the beaker.
